Managing Your Creative Power: Acting as if Your Desire Has Manifested

3 January, 2010 (14:03) | Exploring Law of Attraction | By: Lanore

Many of you who’ve studied Law of Attraction are familiar with the Seth transcripts, a huge body of work by the late Jane Roberts and her husband, Robert Butts.

I remember Seth sharing a powerful creative method with the group of seekers he counseled. He said when you wanted to bring something into your experience, make the decision to do so and begin looking for evidence of it’s existence.

This is similar to Abraham’s (of Esther and Jerry Hicks’ work) advice to act as if, and especially to FEEL as if, you’ve already received and are already experiencing that which you intend to manifest. Abraham says your emotions are like a gauge that tell you how well your vibration is aligned with your desires. Joyful emotion says you’re precisely aligned with your desires, while negative emotion tells you you’re far out of alignment with your desires.

The act of looking for evidence of the manifestation and adopting the emotion that goes along with that experience calibrates your vibration so that the manifestation can come fully into your awareness. And besides, it’s a really fun thing to do.

Instead of longing for, hoping for, wishing for something, pretend you already have it. Imagine yourself enjoying it, interacting with it, physically experiencing it using as many of your senses as possible. It doesn’t have to be anything material. This works with manifesting relationships, matters of health, career, as well as material concerns or anything else.

You don’t want to seek evidence of the manifestation in a negative frame of mind, though. If you walk around looking about for it’s appearance and wind up saying, “well, it’s still isn’t here.” That’s not looking for evidence of it’s appearance, that’s looking for evidence of it’s failure to appear. This is a tricky fine line. What you want to do is notice evidence of it moving into your experience and acknowledge that.

For example, if I intend to create an healthy emotional relationship with co-workers. Perhaps I notice someone got fired or walked off the job in a huff. Instead of interpreting that as a toxic experience at work, if I’m looking for evidence of my intention, I’d interpret someone getting sacked or leaving in a huff as a necessary creation of space for a new person with a healthier, happier attitude to be added to the collection of workers. I’d see it as the Universe preparing my physical reality for the manifestation of my desire for a healthy relationship with co-workers.

This mental attitude of looking for the evidence of our desires manifesting takes practice, but you’ll find it yields happy results. In fact, I encourage you to look for evidence that this practice yields results. You’ll be amazed how powerful you discover yourself to be.
